Hello All,

I hope you are enjoying the start of the new semester. This email just serves as an update to our activities for the next semester.
Firstly, we purchased a 3D printer! This will allow us to more quickly make new projects and will be a fun introduction to the world of 3D printing and CNC devices.
Secondly, beginner workshops are continuing at the same time and place as last year. That is 6pm on wednesdays in Azrieli Pavilion 408B. The first workshop is this wednesday, Jan 11th. In these workshops we accept people of any skill level to come and work on small electronics and robotics projects. We have some cool new projects we want to do this semester, including hacking an old mobility scooter.
Lastly, if you have experience with programming microcontrollers and embedded systems then the cansat project could use your help! Come to the workshop or email me at president@carletonrobotics.com if you want to know more.
We look forward to seeing you at the workshops!
