Our first 3Pi workshop will be held tomorrow, Saturday October-13th ,1:30 PM – 3:30 PM at ME4195 (Mackenzie Room 4195) . This will be an introductory workshop with the following objectives:
- Identifying the electronic parts and the sensors on the 3Pi robot
- Introduction to the setting up the IDE (integrated Development Environment) for programming the robot
- Compiling and loading the code in to the EPROM (Electronically Programmable Read Only Memory) on the robot
- Some basic code like Blinking the LED‘s on the robot, rotating the motors and Handling the signals from the push buttons.
Students who are already familiar with this concepts can come and help demonstrate it to their fellows. As we will be hosting subsequent advanced workshops, we also need volunteers.
Thank you and hope to see you there,
